We didn't have a lot of time today but this route made up for it - so many highlights and the trails are running perfectly. My CX bike was very happy going over all of this ground and kept up with Paul's MTB, I even had a few glory moments on the hills (probably because Paul did a 3hr MTB race yesterday

Bikes ready, cycling kit on, and we took the kids to school. They might get a bit embarrassed about the lycra, but it was worth it for a flying ride around the beautiful gravel roads of Sundon Hills. We had enough time for a quick stop on the way back for a yummy ice cream milkshake at the Shack Cafe

We had a blast but I don’t recommend you follow this route lol The bridleway from Weedon to Rowsham starts with a muddy field with no track. There’s a better path around the edge of the field but the farmer has clear signs saying you must go through the mud, down the middle and there’s weird white sheets

This route headed in a different direction to where we usually ride, this is North Bucks. The route was mostly exposed, it followed quite a lot of tarmac along the Chilterns Cycleway so is suitable for MTBs and CX riders. We found some really interesting off-road Bridleways to liven it up, Quainton Hill

This is one of my favourite routes in the area, around Ashridge is stunning. If you’re looking to give your legs a rest I find riding in this direction equals less elevation than rides around Wendover overall. I completed this on my CX bike with mud tyres, it was muddy today after the rain. It’s well

Oggi ho seguito la maggior parte del mio percorso di Birthday Bridleway, ma mentre stavo lasciando Southill verso Chicksands ho notato una pista e ho deciso di provarla. Ho controllato Komoot e sembrava che mi avrebbe portato a Shefford, attraverso un varco nella siepe ho trovato un meraviglioso sentiero

A great route for a family ride, it’s mostly off road. It follows the canal to Long Marston, there’s a small pump track where we enjoy having family races. The farm shop nr Wilstone PE Meade is nearby and offers great food, drink and ice cream. Plenty of parks along the way for picnic stops and to keep the kids interested too.

This is one of my local loops, I ride it when I haven't got much time, usually go early and ride flat out because the trails allow you to go quite fast in the dry, it's not very technical but there's some interesting bits to give everyone some enjoyment. This is an ideal route for familes or new gravel

Questa è la mia direzione preferita per guidare nella zona quando sono in viaggio: è così tranquillo e silenzioso, le strade rotolano su e giù. Anche questo percorso va davvero bene in entrambe le direzioni. Ci sono 2 opzioni di fermata del caffè lungo il percorso ed entrambe si sono adattate ai tempi
