Il Pont Wilson ha una storia nascosta.
Nel 1978, una parte del ponte crollò inaspettatamente. Non a causa di un'alluvione, ma perché la Loira aveva eroso il sottosuolo.
In seguito, il ponte fu rinforzato dall'interno. Sì, davvero: alcune sezioni sono cave e contengono camere di ispezione.
