La nuova chiesa parrocchiale fu edificata nel 1453 inizialmente come edificio a navata unica con presbiterio 5/8. Nel 1467 iniziò la costruzione della massiccia torre occidentale. Nel 1479 fu aggiunta una navata settentrionale alla navata, seguita da una sacrestia o forse una cappella laterale a est all'altezza del coro. Nel 1512 la torre fu completata (Wikipedia).
