While the immediate path isn't considered 'easy,' the village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie itself is very walkable. For families seeking easier trails, exploring the wider Verdon region offers numerous options, though they would be separate from the chapel climb. This can be challenging for some dogs, especially smaller breeds or older animals. If bringing a dog, ensure it is fit for such an ascent and always keep it on a leash, as the path can be busy and the terrain uneven. Be mindful of other visitors and the potential for slippery steps.

During warmer months, light, breathable clothing, a hat, sunglasses, and plenty of water are essential. In cooler seasons, layers are advisable.
