    La chiesa della città di Buchheim sorgeva qui nel XV secolo.
    Durante la Guerra dei Trent'anni, Buchheim fu saccheggiata e bruciata dagli svedesi. Sebbene i residenti siano fuggiti nei boschi, sono stati rintracciati e uccisi spietatamente. La città di Buchheim fu distrutta e non fu mai ricostruita. Dell'ex chiesa è rimasta solo una parte. Questa restante parte è stata successivamente ampliata nell'attuale cappella.
