    La più antica chiesa a graticcio dell'Assia (costruita intorno al 1440 su un edificio più antico, probabilmente del XIII secolo).
    Dal 1375, l'ospedale cittadino (casa per malati, poveri e anziani) si trova vicino a St. Wendelin, che consisteva in diversi edifici.
    La cappella restaurata, riaperta nel 1987, contiene, tra l'altro, il pregevole santuario Wendelin (dipinto o scolpito intorno al 1510).
    L'edificio annesso comprende le sale di lavoro di diversi club (con il Tepler Hochland (Tepl, la città padrina tedesca dei Sudeti di Butzbach) da vedere).

    La cappella Wendelin è l'ex cappella dell'ospedale cittadino. Fu costruita intorno al 1440 ed è quindi la più antica chiesa a graticcio dell'Assia e una delle più antiche chiese a graticcio della Germania.
