    A 780 piedi, Mount Battie è un'escursione più breve nel Camden Hills State Park. La vetta si raggiunge da Camden tramite un dolce sentiero o da Lincolnville tramite un sentiero che inizia piuttosto ripido e termina dolcemente, rendendolo un buon tour per tutta la famiglia. In cima, goditi la vista sul vicino porto di Camden, sulla baia di Penobscot e persino sulle montagne Cadillac nel Parco nazionale di Acadia in una giornata limpida!

    Sulla cima del Monte Battie si erge una torre in pietra, costruita nel 1921 dalla Mt. Battie Association. In precedenza, su questo sito sorgeva un hotel chiamato Summit House, risalente alla fine del XIX secolo. L'accesso avveniva da nord tramite una strada carrozzabile, successivamente ampliata e trasformata in una strada asfaltata che portava alla cima, dotata di un parcheggio.
    Dalla cima e dalla torre, si gode di una magnifica vista sulla baia di West Penobscot e sul porto di Camden, sotto un cielo azzurro.
