    Si raggiunge da Petra Piana sulla strada per Monte Rotondo in circa 1-1,5 ore a piedi. Tuttavia, la salita ha tutto. Estremamente ripido e solo in parte segnato da ometti. Nella zona superiore c'è un breve tratto dove è richiesto l'uso della mano. Non puoi chiamarla arrampicata, ma non dovresti avere problemi con il terreno leggermente esposto. Prima di raggiungere il lago bisogna superare un enorme campo di massi. Qui al più tardi diventa completamente senza sentiero. Ma il lago vale tutte le fatiche......un sogno assoluto e completamente lontano da ogni turismo.
