St. James's Cathedral, known locally as Svētā Jēkaba katedrāle, is a significant Roman Catholic cathedral located in the heart of Riga, Latvia.     La Cattedrale di San Giacomo a Riga è la cattedrale cattolica e risale al XIII secolo. Costruita in mattoni in stile gotico primitivo, vanta l'unico campanile medievale di Riga completamente conservato, con guglia alta 92 metri.     La Cattedrale di San Giacomo a Riga, conosciuta anche come “St. La chiesa di Jakobus è uno dei luoghi di culto più importanti della città. Fu costruito nel XIII secolo ed è uno dei pochi edifici medievali conservati in gran parte in condizioni originali a Riga. La cattedrale presenta elementi di architettura tardo romanica e gotica e colpisce per la sua struttura in mattoni semplice ma potente. Particolarmente suggestiva è la torre alta 80 metri con la sua cupola barocca in rame, che troneggia sul centro storico.
