    La chiesa parrocchiale di San Dionigi è un imponente edificio barocco costruito dal 1706 al 1710. Si erge, visibile da lontano, su uno sperone roccioso a nord del centro storico, sopra la Sulmtal e, insieme al Castello dell'Ordine Teutonico, è uno dei simboli della città. Il campanile della chiesa fu costruito nel 1757 sotto il capomastro Franz Häffele.

    Durante la seconda guerra mondiale la chiesa fu completamente distrutta da un bombardamento il 1 marzo 1945 e fu ricostruita dal 1946 al 1949.
