    Hickling è la più grande di tutte le ragazze. Un rifugio per la fauna selvatica tutto l'anno, la riserva naturale ospita molte specie di uccelli tra cui gru, occhi d'oro, mestoloni, falchi di palude, moriglioni, alzavole, tarabusi, porciglioni e uccellini di Cetti. Puoi anche avvistare insetti rari, tra cui le farfalle a coda di rondine e le libellule imperatrici. L'ampio si è formato, come la maggior parte degli altri della regione, dall'inondazione delle depressioni lasciate dallo scavo della torba nel periodo medievale.
