Rappresenta un po' il "Laumalocher" nel senso migliore del termine, uno che non ha paura di dire la sua e che affronta bene la vita.
La parola "Buttjer" deriva da Rotwelsch, dove significa vagabondo o vagabondo. E in qualche modo c'è un Buttjer in ogni "vero Mindener".
