    La Torre di Gallo fu costruita nel 1343. Dopo una terribile alluvione del 1342, la Torre di Gallo fu costruita come muro di protezione contro le acque del Reno. Le feritoie rinvenute nella torre indicano che la torre era inclusa nel concetto di fortificazione della città. Dopo che tra maggio e giugno 1972 si svolsero la pianificazione preparatoria e le discussioni con le autorità, l'11 settembre 1972 il consiglio della corporazione decise di ampliare la torre. I lavori di scavo furono completati già nell'ottobre del 1972. La Torre di Gallo può anche essere affittata per feste.
