    L'attuale chiesa fu costruita tra il 1852 e il 1854 su progetto dell'architetto Josef Niehaus. La torre è stata conservata. Il 29 aprile 1945, poco prima della fine della seconda guerra mondiale, fu fatta saltare in aria e completamente distrutta dai soldati della Wehrmacht. Le parti adiacenti della chiesa furono gravemente danneggiate. L'edificio della chiesa fu ristrutturato nel 1947, nel 1954 fu ricostruita la torre.
