    L'Hoge Ginkel è una delle foreste più tranquille della provincia. Nella zona sono presenti delle bellissime valli formate dall'acqua di scioglimento delle nevi, che provocano dislivelli. Sull'Hoge Ginkel vivono volpi, vermi lenti, lucertole della sabbia e uccelli come l'astore, l'allocco e il pigliamosche.
