La FR2 è la "tangente ovest" sulla tangenziale merci, all'estremità nord sono da realizzare ulteriori lavori. Probabilmente per mancanza di spazio e solo 4 km, non una pista ciclabile in senso stretto, ma comunque piacevole da guidare e molto frequentata. Intersezione con la FR1 al Dreisambrücke.
