Schlosspark Kalkum is a historic natural monument and a picturesque English landscape garden nestled in the Kalkum district of northern Düsseldorf, Germany. Situated approximately two kilometers northeast of Kaiserswerth, this tranquil park, with an elevation of around 38 meters, is intrinsically linked to the classicist water castle, Schloss Kalkum.     Non solo il parco del castello, ma anche le aree agricole e rurali nei dintorni del castello sull'acqua di Kalkum sono designate come “area protetta del paesaggio Schwarzbachaue”. Il parco del palazzo rivolto a ovest fu realizzato intorno al 1810 sotto forma di un grande semicerchio dall'architetto dei giardini di Düsseldorf Maximilian Weyhe in stile paesaggistico inglese. Il parco è spesso utilizzato dai cittadini e dagli ospiti come area ricreativa locale.

    Il progetto di Maximilian Friedrich Weyhe per il parco del castello di Kalkum risale al 1808. L'elemento centrale da lui previsto era un giardino paesaggistico in stile inglese, che aveva le componenti tipiche di questo tipo di parco: assi visivi, percorsi curvi, gruppi di alberi e alberi solitari . Nel progetto è stato incluso il vecchio mulino del castello del XVIII secolo sul confine meridionale del parco.     Il parco del castello è molto ben curato ed è ideale per fare una passeggiata. Il porticato ombreggiato è particolarmente bello d'estate. Dai sentieri che si diramano si hanno interessanti prospettive sul castello. Purtroppo l'interno del castello non è accessibile.
