Il capo valdese Henri Arnaud fece costruire una semplice chiesa di legno nella colonia valdese di Schönenberg di fronte alla sua canonica (oggi museo, waldenser.de). Si dice che vi sia sepolto Henri Arnaud, morto l'8 settembre 1721.
