Il transetto, il coro e la navata hanno un nucleo del XIV o XV secolo, ma la chiesa fu bruciata nel 1619 e anch'essa distrutta nel 1626. La chiesa fu probabilmente completamente restaurata poco dopo il 1678. La torre ovest fu costruita nel 1770-1771. Nel terzo quarto del XVIII secolo l'arredo della chiesa fu abbellito. Ingenti lavori di restauro e ampliamento della chiesa ebbero luogo nel 1938.
