    L'architetto di questo edificio sulla Grand'rue, costruito nel 1606, non era altri che Albert Schmidt, che progettò anche la cosiddetta Johanniterhaus (1608) e la Kopfhaus (1609). Costruito in stile rinascimentale tedesco, l'edificio si sviluppa su tre piani ed è incorniciato alle estremità da un timpano a volute e da una finestra a bovindo angolare, che impreziosiscono l'edificio.

    Questo elegante edificio rinascimentale con un frontone a volute è scandito da una serie di arcate e due bovindi angolari, che incorniciano i tre piani della facciata che si affaccia sulla Grand'Rue. Fu progettato nientemeno che da Albert Schmidt, autore anche della Casa dei Cavalieri di San Giovanni e della Casa dei Capi. L'edificio un tempo fungeva da residenza del clero della chiesa luterana.
