    L'attuale castello è ciò che resta di un castello medievale quadrilatero con fossato, le cui quattro ali seminterrate racchiudevano un cortile ed erano dotate di una torre quadrilatera su ogni angolo; al centro dell'ala anteriore si ergeva una grande torre. Ora rimane solo un'ala ovest, ristrutturata nel XIX secolo, con una torre neogotica nella parte anteriore e un ampliamento altrettanto neogotico con due ali laterali più corte nella parte posteriore; delle altre ali si è conservato solo il basamento.
