    In cima a una collina nei pressi di Afonso Vicente, si ergono i Menhir di Lavajo, sentinelle di pietra neolitiche che custodiscono il silenzio di questa valle da oltre cinquemila anni. Scolpiti nella grovacca e incisi con cerchi e fossette, questi monoliti sembrano allinearsi in un antico mistero.

    Recuperati e restaurati nel 2004, sono tornati nella loro posizione originale, invitando i passanti a immaginare un'epoca in cui la pietra parlava al sole.
