    La miniera di Sauwartan fu chiusa anticipatamente il 6 ottobre 1938. Tracce di sfruttamento, tutto ciò che rimane oggi sono la struttura principale in cemento, che custodisce l'ingresso del Bois de Colfontaine alla maniera di un antico drago addormentato.
