    Sicuramente da visitare sia dall'esterno che dall'interno... anche con una bellissima vista sulla Saale a sinistra della chiesa

    L'artista nativo svizzero Kilian Stauffer portò la meravigliosa arte dello stucco marmoreo al monastero, che all'epoca era diventato fatiscente, intorno al 18° secolo e lo fece risplendere di nuovo.

    Situato in posizione idilliaca sulla Saale e circondato dalla foresta. Il monastero fu originariamente costruito nel 1189, nel 1554 fu abbandonato dopo la guerra di Markgräfler. Nel 1699 fu ricostruita in stile barocco e si trasformò in un popolare luogo di pellegrinaggio. Le figlie nubili dei conti Rieneck vivevano qui come monache.
