    Il rifugio sulla cengia denominata "Köpfchen" sorge su un sito storico. C'era una torre residenziale con una superficie di circa 19 per 20 metri, che fu probabilmente costruita come "controcastello" al castello di Lindenfels a Baden all'epoca. Non si sa molto di questo piccolo complesso castellano, ma si sa che fu nuovamente demolito verso la fine del XIII secolo.
    Il fossato del collo scavato nella pietra è ancora ben visibile.
    Il rifugio, invece, offre una certa protezione quando si avvicina la pioggia.
