Schloss Aigenegg, also known historically as Aicheck, is a distinctive castle situated at an elevation of 335 meters in Thalheim bei Wels, within the Wels-Land District of Upper Austria, Austria.     Nordic walking

    Il castello di Aigenegg si trova in Bruckhofstraße 1. Tra il 1910 e il 1913 l'edificio assunse la forma attuale di castello. Prima di allora era un birrificio e una tenuta di campagna.

    Il castello è un edificio a due ali a tre piani con una torre angolare di quattro piani. In fondo alla facciata principale si trova il portale d'ingresso ad arco di cesto. Lo stemma dei baroni di Gartner-Machtenhofen è attaccato sopra l'ingresso del castello. Il piano terra è separato da un bugnato di intonaco. Le facciate ovest e nord sono state restaurate nel 1986/87. Si dice che ci sia una foto di Stephan Fadinger sulle scale. Il castello non è aperto al pubblico.
