    Questo centro storico dei paracadutisti del D-Day si trova ad un bivio che i soldati chiamarono il Carrefour de l'Homme Mort perché un carro armato americano fu distrutto durante i combattimenti per la liberazione di Carentan e rimane ancora il corpo di un ufficiale americano ucciso. dalla torretta corazzata per alcuni giorni. L'attuale museo è stato il quartier generale dei difensori tedeschi di Carentan fino al 6 giugno 1944. Dopo la cattura di Carentan divenne un ospedale da campo. Il museo è dedicato alle compagnie di paracadutisti ed espone un'ampia collezione di manufatti e divise di entrambi i campi.
