    Questa immensa distesa d'acqua, 10 ettari e profonda da 2 a 3 metri, sarebbe probabilmente un'antica cava da cui furono estratte le pietre necessarie per la costruzione della prima città gallo-romana, all'epoca in cui Vannes si chiamava ancora Dariorithum.
