    Nel 1958 nel castello di Raggendorf fu imbottigliato il primo spumante Ritter. A quel tempo RITTER SEKT era ancora un marchio regionale e la cantina del castello di Klenkhart era una piccola azienda a conduzione familiare. Oggi nel mondo vengono vendute ogni anno quasi 6 milioni di bottiglie di spumante e vino.

    Nel 2016 il castello rinascimentale è stato restaurato con cura dal castellano Norbert Klenkhart e privato di varie aggiunte degli ultimi decenni. Da allora il castello di Raggendorf con il suo ampio giardino, l'idilliaco cortile e le sale festive viene utilizzato come castello per eventi.
