    Il castello fu costruito da Josef Toussaint nel 1779, nel 1890-91 fu ricostruito in stile neogotico dalla famiglia Gudens. Intorno ad esso è stato costruito un parco all'inglese. Durante la seconda guerra mondiale il castello fu utilizzato dalla Gioventù Hitleriana, dopo la guerra fu gestito dalla Carità Cattolica. Attualmente l'edificio funge da casa per anziani.
