    L'acqua sorgiva proviene dal Burgalb, che sfocia nel Burgalbweiher. Circa 2 chilometri più avanti, il Burgalb sfocia poi nello Schwarzbach. Ecco l'origine dello Schwarzbach, dovrebbe indicarla il Ritterstein. Lo Schwarzbach sfocia ulteriormente nel Ramschelweiher e attraverso la Schwarzbachtal. Il Ritterstein è curato e mantenuto dalla PWV (Associazione Foresta del Palatinato).

    Lo Schwarzbach nasce dalla confluenza del Pferdesbach e del Burgalb nel Pferdebrunnenweiher (= origine dello Schwarzbach). Sfocia nel Blies.
