risalgono agli anni 1890-1895. Gli edifici dei carri armati furono costruiti 10 anni dopo e la fortezza fu completata nel 1905. Il forte faceva parte della linea di difesa di Amsterdam. Durante la mobilitazione durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale il forte era presidiato da circa 280 uomini.
