Explore the diverse landscapes of the North Norfolk coastline on this moderate 8.7-mile (14.0 km) loop, which typically takes around 3 hours and 33 minutes to complete. You will encounter expansive salt marshes, offering wide-open views and a haven for birdlife, alongside glimpses of the sea and sections through sandy beaches and pine woods. The trail also leads you through the historic Wells-next-the-Sea Harbour, with its impressive granary building, and the charming village of Stiffkey, known for its chalk stream.

While the route is predominantly flat with only 121 feet (37 metres) of elevation gain, good fitness is beneficial for the entire duration. The extensive salt marshes provide excellent opportunities for birdwatching, where you might spot egrets, curlews, and oystercatchers, with notice boards often providing local wildlife information.
