    Il Brathay è un fiume dell'Inghilterra nord-occidentale. Il nome deriva dall'antico norreno e significa "fiume largo". Il fiume nasce a 393 metri sul livello del mare, vicino alla Three Shire Stone, nel punto più alto del Wrynose Pass nel Lake District. Il suo bacino idrografico comprende i fianchi settentrionali di Wetherlam, Great Carrs e altre parti delle Furness Fells, nonché una parte significativa delle Langdale Fells.
