    L'edificio sulla Raadhuisplein ad Abcoude fu costruito in stile idraulico nel 1882 e nel 1883 come sede dell'amministrazione comunale dell'allora comune di Abcoude-Proostdij. Fino al 1968 il piano superiore era ancora in parte adibito a edificio residenziale. L'edificio ha ospitato anche la stazione di polizia di Abcoude per diversi decenni. Con lo scioglimento del comune di Abcoude, l'edificio non fu più utilizzato. Nel 2012 l'immobile è stato ceduto ad un privato.
