    La chiesa fu costruita dai cittadini locali intorno al 1888. Sia all'interno che all'esterno appare piuttosto modesto ai margini del cimitero. All'interno della chiesa un rilievo metallico alto 1,40 metri ricorda i 16 soldati caduti del comune di Renneritz nella prima guerra mondiale.

    Nel 2000 è stata fondata l’associazione “Sostenitori della preservazione della Chiesa di Renneritz e.V”. Dal 2001 organizza concerti natalizi ed estivi. Il ricavato della manifestazione ha già consentito di effettuare alcuni lavori di ristrutturazione della chiesa. L'impegno dell'associazione e dei suoi sostenitori e amici fa sì che questa piccola chiesa di paese venga preservata.
