    Al posto della "Alteburg" distrutta nel 1382, intorno al 1547 fu costruita una magnifica casa a graticcio, circondata dal fossato. Sotto Filippo il Magnanimo d'Assia, questo fu dato in feudo alla famiglia von Gründerrode e servì, tra l'altro, come sede della loro vedova. L'edificio è ora di proprietà privata.
