    La Chiesa protestante di Nostra Signora è una chiesa gotica. Fu costruito dal 1350 al 1385 e fu fondato dalla contessa Lukarde von Eppenstein e dal conte Konrad von Trimberg. Attraverso una lettera di indulgenza di Papa Giovanni XXII. da Avignone divenne luogo di pellegrinaggio.
    A partire dal 2015 è stata effettuata una ristrutturazione fondamentale di tre anni della chiesa a causa della torre pendente e della scarsa costruzione in legno.

    La "nuova" chiesa fu edificata negli anni 1330 - 1385. È conosciuta a livello nazionale grazie all'importante altare alato, che fu affrescato intorno al 1385 dallo "Schottener Meister". Vengono mostrate 16 scene della vita di Maria. L'organo della chiesa fu costruito nel 1782/83 da Philip Wegmann di Francoforte. Da Pentecoste a Pasqua, la chiesa è aperta tutti i giorni dalle 15:30 alle 16:30. L'anticamera è sempre accessibile.
