    La chiesa di San Martino fu menzionata per la prima volta nel 1324, presumibilmente come chiesa privata dei signori del feudo di Hayn.

    Dalla metà degli anni '70, non si sono più tenute funzioni religiose nella chiesa. La chiesa fu poi utilizzata come deposito di materiali edili per oltre 25 anni, rischiando il completo abbandono.

    ... Nel 1999, si tenne nuovamente la prima funzione religiosa, il campanile fu consacrato e le campane furono nuovamente suonate. L'organo è ancora gravemente danneggiato e inutilizzabile.
