    Il Dolder fu costruito nel 1291. La torre alta 25 metri fungeva da torre dell'orologio, torre di avvistamento e porta della città. Il Dolder è il monumento (edificio) più famoso di Riquewihr. Fu costruita insieme alla prima cinta muraria. Nel corso dei secoli è riuscita a preservare il suo aspetto, con una facciata esterna sobria per distrarre gli intrusi e una facciata interna con un bovindo ornato. Artigianalità di prim'ordine.
