    Il parco cittadino Burgwiese, l'ex sede cittadina del Castello di Wildeshausen, ospita regolarmente eventi come l'Estate Culturale (ogni domenica mattina durante i mesi estivi) e l'evento di apertura della Festa della Corporazione la domenica di Pentecoste, con tatuaggio e fuochi d'artificio. La cappella musicale, una fontana, un percorso Kneipp, un'ampia area verde, un parco giochi per bambini e la sua posizione direttamente sul fiume Hunte rendono Burgwiese un punto d'incontro centrale nella stazione climatica. Da qui, è possibile partire a piedi o in bicicletta lungo diversi sentieri segnalati immersi nella splendida natura circostante.
