    Heimbach è un luogo direttamente sul Rur ea pochi metri dal Rursee. Il luogo colpisce per il suo centro storico. Piccoli caffè, ristoranti e negozi completano il tutto. Degno di nota è anche il castello, che dovresti assolutamente visitare. Il castello in sé merita una visita, ma la vista dal castello dei Rur e la campagna circostante è semplicemente stupenda.

    Il mulino del monastero era un tempo utilizzato come mulino ad acqua dai monaci dell'abbazia trappista di Mariawald. Oggi l'affascinante edificio è un hotel.
