Sinnich Abbey, also known as Schloss Sinnich or Schloss Teuven, is a historic former abbey nestled near the charming village of Teuven in the Belgian municipality of Voeren. This significant historical site, situated at an elevation of approximately 167 metres, lies at the foot of the picturesque Plateau van Crapoel, with the tranquil River Gulp flowing through its western garden.     In origine il nobile Monastero Sinnich - che fu edificato all'inizio del XII secolo - era un monastero femminile dei frati dell'ordine dei Santi Agostiniani. Il monastero dipendeva dalla vicina Abbazia di Rolduc. All'inizio del XIII secolo, il monastero fu distrutto da un incendio tre volte nell'arco di diciotto anni.

    Dal 1250 circa, le Agostinie vissero in un'abbazia fondata da Klooterrade. Rievoca questo primo periodo la torre romanica del XIII secolo in pietra naturale. La chiesa fu consacrata nel 1297.
