    Secondo la scheda informativa davanti al pilastro, questo vecchio pilastro di pietra con la scritta "Montabauerer Höhe" segna un punto di rilevamento storico per il rilevamento del Ducato di Nassau. Tuttavia, non è più nel punto "giusto", ma era a circa 5 mt. spostato in direzione sud. Dal 1969 un pilastro di granito è rimasto al suo posto originale perché è più facile da usare,
