Il ristorante è stato aperto nel 1906 dopo un anno di lavori. L'attività di ristorazione consisteva, tra l'altro, in una grande sala con una capienza di 3000 persone, una torre di avvistamento e strutture accessorie come piste da bowling, cabine di tiro e dadi, giostre e altalene. Successivamente alcuni edifici furono trasformati in pergole. L'attuale ristorante è stato chiuso negli anni '70, in parte demolito, in parte ristrutturato. Le rovine si trovano ancora oggi. Tutto intorno c'è una colonia di pergole.
