    Il laghetto è un cosiddetto lago di soda ed è ricco di una varietà di minerali come calcio, solfato di sodio e solfato di magnesio. Durante i mesi estivi la concentrazione di minerali aumenta e diventano visibili in vari luoghi sotto forma di pozze. Ecco perché il lago ha il suo nome.
