    La salita delle due cime Karlspitzen varia in difficoltà da un'escursione alpinistica molto impegnativa con tratti di arrampicata a un'arrampicata su roccia facile fino al II grado, con una via ferrata (poche staffe). Molti tratti sono piuttosto esposti, ma i tratti più facili sono anche piuttosto ghiaiosi (con il conseguente rischio di caduta massi).
