    Escursionismo

    Il primo luogo di culto di Harthau, Berbisdorf ed Eibenberg era probabilmente una chiesa di legno sul sito dell'odierna "Chiesa Vecchia". Viene citata per la prima volta nel 1539 con l'introduzione della Riforma, anche se come "chiesa di pietra". Testimonianze esistenti di questo periodo sono la parte superiore del fonte battesimale (coppa) e i resti della casa sacramentale.

    Nel 1609 la chiesa fu ampliata:
    "..l'intero edificio è di nuova costruzione...".


    L'altare del pulpito realizzato dallo scultore in legno di Chemnitz Christian Suttinger fu allestito nel 1765.

    Alla fine della Prima Guerra Mondiale la vecchia chiesa divenne un monumento ai caduti. Dal 1945, dopo la seconda guerra mondiale, la cappella rimase inutilizzata e cadde in rovina. Fu solo nel 1990 che iniziarono i lavori di ristrutturazione e riparazione. Oggi funge da sala per eventi e concerti.
