    La stazione ferroviaria è stata costruita come ingresso all'Expo '98, quindi ha un design corrispondentemente spazioso. Di particolare interesse sono le strutture in cemento armato dell'edificio al piano sottostante i binari. Nonostante la sua imponenza, la struttura portante trasmette una leggerezza visiva e un'impronta futuristica con le sue forme arrotondate e l'andamento inclinato ma simmetrico dei supporti. La forma ad arco caratterizza il livello d'ingresso ed è proseguita in molti dettagli come il baldacchino a forma di ala arrotondata.
