    Tünnes e Schäl appartengono alla città di Colonia come Kölsch e Karneval. Sono caricature del piccolo borghese cittadino e del contadino appena trasferitosi a Colonia dalla campagna. In parte furbo, in parte stupido, ma in ogni caso irrispettoso ed estremamente arguto. Al Büttenreden, Tünnes e Schäl sono ancora bravi a fare decine di battute.
